60 Coats of Arms

A while back, when I wanted to give my Mythic Bastionland players their own Coat of Arms, I discovered an online tool that actually randomizes some. But not only that, it actually lets you easily create your own as well, so the graphic designer in me decided to make my own 60 Coats of Arms. Eventually I even printed them as playing cards so I can hand them out to my players and reference them more easily.

Someone recently requested the files when I showed them off in the Mythic subreddit, so I uploaded them to Google Drive. Feel free to use them as you please!

The Ultimate Scavenger Hunt

My absolute favorite among all contests/minigames I've designed, mostly because I was particularly inspired when coming up with the items that have to be fetched. I tried my best into making it so that acquiring each provides an interesting enough challenge, but where I feel I really excelled was the flavor. Take a look for yourself.

Deluxe Colosseum Challenge Randomizer

I designed this Colosseum Challenge generator so that it creates an arena along with its primary terrain, any standout features, and the hazards it harbors, of course.

My favorite part, however, is that each generation assigns one primary "elite" threat, one known to target the competitors and creatures alike. Some of these threats come with their own sub-variations, so even getting the same result might come with new features.

Deluxe Gambling Minigames

Click on roll to randomly determine the game or select it from the drop down menu.

Ante

A head to head game of blind wagering. Wagering more than your opponent guarantees victory, but the lowest wager possible beats the highest wager possible!

Going for Greed

A dice game against the house with steady odds. One particularly risky combination, "Going for Greed", risks it all for a bigger payout.

Mushi Rally

My personal favorite! Horse Bug Race betting based on each bug's appearance and the course laid in front of them, the latter of which is always randomly determined.

A Knight's Downtime & Public Duty

So, I made this one specifically for Mythic Bastionland, but of course it can be used with any knight-centric medieval ttrpg.

The idea is not to give anything too detailed, but rather present the common types of activities a knight engages in so that the Referee can flesh out further with Spark tables if they need to. That said, a few of this chart's potential results actually have some sub-variations that add a bit more detail.

Medieval Travelers on the Road

This particular generator has plenty of variants for each of its results (as you can see in this preview of "it's code").

The results are weighted by rarity, in other words, the party is significantly more likely to encounter villagers as compared to, say, nobles and knights.

Winter Travel Complications

10 potential results, some of them with their own sub-variations.

Bug Racing! (Gambling Minigame)

I came up with this one while making making several contest mini-games for Greed Island RPG, and while the others are perhaps more interactive and tactical, I nevertheless consider this as one of my absolute favorites, as far as mini games go.

I present you with Mushi Rally, the Bug Racing gambling minigame!

Advanced Creature Species Generator

Flavor, threat level, physical traits, special abilities, behavior, and weakness. With those 6 properties defined, you’ve always got an interesting creature in your hands.

This is a generator I come back to tweak every now and then, just to add a bit more variety to its potential results, and because it’s been a while, that has resulted in a lot of potential results.

Settlement Idea Generator (8,400 potential results!)

This one that combines over 100 potential structural/physical results (most with their own subvariations) and 84 potential cultural/reputational results (also with their own subvariations). That means a potential total of 8,400 unique results… well, significantly more when you consider the subvariations.
